Hullo. Should I reinstall Windows after I modify my CPU/Motherboard?
If so, how should I go nearly doing this?
Yous should admittedly be prepared to do a full reinstall of the OS and everything else. At that place is a small chance it is not needed. But if it IS needed, you lot'll exist much happier if you lot are prepared for the eventuality.
What Os is this? If Win 10, read and do this before changing any hardware: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/20530/windows-10-reactivating-after-hardware-change http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3164428/windows-build-1607-activation.html
If previous to Win 10, yous may even need a whole new OS license.

Ah ok. I am running Windows 10, and have information technology linked to my MS account.
So should I put the installation media on a flash drive, then utilise that to install Windows if I need to? And if I don't have to do that, and Windows notwithstanding starts properly, should I become through the Make clean Install/Reinstall Windows stuff that's in the settings?

Ah ok. I am running Windows x, and take it linked to my MS account.
So should I put the installation media on a flash drive, and so use that to install Windows if I demand to? And if I don't have to do that, and Windows still starts properly, should I go through the Clean Install/Reinstall Windows stuff that's in the settings?
Role of your prep should be a properly constructed WIn ten install USB. Here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-united states/software-download/windows10
Also, any drivers, application installs, username/passwords...you need to have or know all those. With a clean install, everything is gone. You are starting from a clean slate.

How-do-you-do. Should I reinstall Windows later on I change my CPU/Motherboard?
If so, how should I get about doing this?
Y'all should absolutely exist prepared to practise a full reinstall of the Os and everything else. At that place is a small-scale chance it is not needed. Simply if it IS needed, you'll be much happier if you are prepared for the eventuality.
What Bone is this? If Win 10, read and do this earlier changing any hardware: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/20530/windows-x-reactivating-after-hardware-change http://world wide web.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3164428/windows-build-1607-activation.html
If previous to Win x, you may even demand a whole new OS license.
Ah ok. I am running Windows 10, and take information technology linked to my MS account.
So should I put the installation media on a flash bulldoze, then use that to install Windows if I need to? And if I don't have to do that, and Windows still starts properly, should I go through the Clean Install/Reinstall Windows stuff that's in the settings?
Role of your prep should be a properly synthetic WIn 10 install USB. Hither: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Likewise, any drivers, application installs, username/passwords...y'all demand to have or know all those. With a clean install, everything is gone. You are starting from a clean slate.

I would just try it with the new hardware, merely to come across if information technology works. Merely I would be totally prepared for a full reinstall if it goes south.
